Kick-off: 1900, 28/07/2018

Stadium: Allianz Riviera

Chelsea will continue to ease in Maurizio Sarri with an International Champions Cup clash against Inter Milan in Nice and can give their new boss another boost.

The Blues beat Perth Glory 1-0 in Sarri’s first game in charge and are fancied to build on that by coming out on top again at Allianz Riviera.

We’re happy to take 91/100 for the London outfit to oblige as our opening Chelsea vs Inter Milan prediction.

A Look At Chelsea’s Betting Odds

Sarri took plenty of positives from the trip to Australia, as Pedro gave Chelsea victory despite the absence of a dozen World Cup players.

“I expect us to improve match by match,” said the former Napoli supremo, who saw Ross Barkley hit the woodwork in a promising display Down Under.

“It has been a difficult week with a long flight, jetlag, but at the end of the week I can say we have worked well – and we have played a good match for 60 minutes.”

The Blues have an abundance of talented youngsters to utilise in games such as this, along with an experienced spine featuring Cesc Fabregas, David Luiz, Marcos Alonso, Alvaro Morata and new recruit Jorginho.

Alonso told Chelsea’s official website: “We are working on a new formation, a new style that he is asking of us.

“He wants us to press high, he wants the team to be together, to have possession of the ball.

“We are having fun. The atmosphere in the changing room is very good. The mood is fantastic and we are working very well.”

Looking at the Chelsea vs Inter Milan odds, we like 17/10 for the Blues to win and over 2.5 goals in the game.

A Look At Inter Milan’s Betting Odds

Inter failed to impress when second best for large parts of a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

The Nerazzurri did manage to grab an equaliser through Mauro Icardi, last season’s joint top scorer in Serie A.

Manager Luciano Spalletti said: “Overall, we showed that we have intelligent players in our squad who can get along with one another.”

However, he admitted that the Blades looked in much better shape at this stage, with the Italian season not starting until August 19.

Chelsea should also be more forward than Inter, especially as they have a Community Shield clash with Manchester City to prepare for.

Let’s add 15/4 for the Blues to oblige 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 to our Chelsea vs Inter Milan betting tips.

Perth Glory 0-1 CHELSEA – Pedro

Sheff Utd 1-1 INTER MILAN – Mauro Icardi
