We had a 7/1 winner with our last set of Serie A predictions and are hoping to repeat that success with an 8/1-plus Sunday treble from the fourth round of fixtures in Italy’s top division.
Inter Milan claimed the Scudetto title last season but Juventus and several other powerhouses will be looking to mount a challenge this term.

Roma to win at Hellas Verona @ 10/11
Roma have raced out of the blocks under Jose Mourinho and three wins from three mean they are the early leaders in Serie A ahead of AC Milan and Napoli on goal difference. Their perfect start looked set to end last weekend but Stephan El Shaarawy’s stoppage-time goal secured a 2-1 win against Sassuolo and gave Mourinho a victory in his 1,000th game in management. That was followed by a 5-1 win against CSKA Sofia in the Europa Conference League on Thursday so there is a lot for Roma fans to be happy with. Verona, in contrast, have lost their opening three matches so this looks a tough test for a team low on confidence.
Lazio to beat Cagliari @ 4/9
Lazio’s perfect start to the season ended last weekend when they fell behind to Rafael Leao’s first-half strike against AC Milan before Zlatan Ibrahimovic put paid to hopes of a comeback. They had previously enjoyed comfortable wins against Empoli (3-1) and Spezia (6-1), though, so there is plenty of reason to be confident ahead of facing Cagliari. The visitors are languishing in the relegation zone, with their only point coming in a 2-2 draw with Spezia. Lazio’s thrashing of the same opponents backs up our view they are a much stronger team and they have done the double over Cagliari in each of the last three seasons.
AC Milan to win at Juventus @ 12/5
Juventus have endured a dismal start to the campaign and have done little to suggest they deserve to be 23/20 favourites to win the big game of the weekend. A 2-2 draw with Udinese has been followed by back-to-back defeats against Empoli and Napoli so Juve could be forgiven for being short of confidence. Milan won this fixture 3-0 in May and enjoyed 16 away wins out of 19 last season while they have started the new season with three wins out of three. They lost in the Champions League in midweek as they returned to the competition for the first time in seven years but they could take plenty of positives from their performance in the 3-2 defeat at Liverpool, having led at half-time. Backing them at 12/5 looks a value pick as the last of our Serie A predictions.
